American Idol has turned celebrity packaging and personal branding into an art form.
Spanx has become a household Hallelujah! product for women around the globe.
Google has made search engines a valued (and lucrative) service.
And Oprah is transforming her mission/movement of LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE into an entire television network.
So what are YOU?
In the grand vision of your business, are you a brand, product, service, mission/movement, or a hybrid combination? And if you’re a hybrid, what percentage of your business is a brand? A product? A service? A mission/movement?
Let’s back up for a minute.
Why does it matter what you and your business are?
Because the way you communicate your Brilliance depends very much on how you answer this question. It also tells you how you should be spending your time as you work in and on your business.
As you start thinking about your business in these terms, you’ll understand how to brilliantly communicate the energy of your business, and you’ll understand the inherent value you’re actually providing the world. Click here to read the full blog article I recently wrote on this important topic.
Watch today’s video and be sure to leave a comment here. This is one of my absolute favorite conversations to have with my clients, so let’s continue the conversation. Post your comments and let me know what you and your business are, or if you have questions, I’m happy to answer them here.

I love everything you said Lisa. You make it seem so easy and you clarify it so well. Thank you! I love this series! You Rock!!
April
It can be easy when you’re clear, April. What’s becoming clearer for you and your biz?
I am a hybrid. No doubt. I am a brand…Post-Divorce Group…service…dating and coaching….product would be the blog and writing??
Lee, you are definitely a hybrid. Your brand is Post Divorce Chronicles. Your service is the coaching. Your product would be if you do an e-book or other passive income product. Plus, you’re on a mission to heal people of post-divorce pain. So you hit them ALL. Job well done!
